Truth Ocean is an independent app studio that builds tools for the greater good. This privacy policy applies to the ScreenBlock app for Android and the truthocean.app website.
2. What data we collect
ScreenBlock app: We collect no data whatsoever. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share:
- Screenshots or screen content
- Personal information
- Device identifiers
- Usage statistics or analytics
- Location data
All AI processing happens locally on your device using an on-device machine learning model. No screen content is ever uploaded to any server.
This website (truthocean.app): We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. No personal data is collected when you browse this site.
3. Permissions used by ScreenBlock
The app requests the following Android permissions, used solely for its core function:
- Media Projection — to capture screen content for real-time analysis. Content is processed on-device only and never stored or transmitted.
- Display over other apps — to show the protective overlay when explicit content is detected.
- Foreground service — to keep protection running in the background.
4. Third-party services
ScreenBlock does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The app functions entirely offline.
5. Children's privacy
ScreenBlock is designed to protect children and young people from explicit content. The app does not collect any data from users of any age.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will never introduce data collection without clearly disclosing it here.
